How is this even possible? This new year snuck up on me SO quickly. I haven't posted in a few weeks because the holiday season has been so hectic, but I'm back and ready to talk (or type, rather) your ears off! ;)
So recently I've been testing out a lot of beauty products and shopping uncontrollably. I'm sorry (not sorry), but all of the sales are seriously way too good to pass up this year. Bath and Body Works has had like 40 BOGO, BOG2, and BOG3 sales this season. I mean really, like HOW ON EARTH DOES ONE DENY THEMSELVES FREE WHITE BARN CANDLES?! They don't, duh.
So with that being said, today I’ll be sharing everything that I’ve tried and loved during the month of December! Keep scrolling to find out!
These grey suede Steve Madden Pointed Toe Pumps! I’ve been living for these! I picked them up from Nordstrom Rack right before Christmas Eve and they ended up becoming a staple for this look! They’re not the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever worn but the color is gorgeous and they can be styled soooo many different ways! I've also been living for these sunnies by Quay Australia X Desi Perkins.
These Steve Madden grey suede OTK Boots. I officially have this boot in every color and I am not ashamed, lol! They're marked down to only $50.00 right now but they only have a few sizes left so go grab a pair!
Adidas NMD_XR1’s in the shade “burgundy”. These shoes, leggings, and a white tee have basically been my uniform since I got these. They’re so cute and still super chic for an athletic shoe! They do run suuuuuper big though so definitely size down.
Now let’s talk beauty products! Pretty much every product I’ve tried this month has made its way into my daily routine.
First- basically the entire Kristin Ess hair care line from Target. Kristin Ess is a celebrity hair stylist who is known for her gorgeous loose beach waves. I discovered this line kind of randomly, and since I first purchased it I literally haven’t used anything else on my hair. It smells AMAZING. Ugh, like I could just sit there and sniff the shampoo bottle all day. It’s super fresh and not overwhelmingly fragrant but still enough that you’ll get a whiff of it throughout the day.
Products I've used from this line are:
- The One Signature Shampoo & Conditioner
- Soft Shine Beach Wave Spray (my faveeee)
- Dry Finish Working Texture Spray
I’ve been searching every Target I visit to find the dry shampoo but I haven’t found it yet (😥) but that one is on my list to try next!
Next beauty product I’ve been living for this month is the “Snowy Morning” shower gel and body butter from Bath & Body Works. Y’ALL. This scent is SO FRICKIN GOOD. It’s so clean and fresh. And the body butter really does a great job at nourishing and moisturizing the skin. BUUUUUUUT theres bad news- this one was an exclusive to their holiday line so unfortunately you can’t get it right now 😩. But *hopefully* it will return next holiday season! I stocked up just in case 😬
The third product I want to talk to y'all about is the It! Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores primer. This stuff has been my go-to primer since I purchased it. I actually bought it on Black Friday but since i've been using it non-stop I figured I would share it with y'all in my favorites! The reason why I love it so much is because not only does it blur pores and imperfections, but it also NEUTRALIZES your skin tone! I helps cancel out redness and uneven tone and texture to create a nearly flawless canvas for foundation application. I cannot say enough good things about this product. Definitely try it if you're in the market for a new primer!
A few other makeup products worth mentioning-
This Lancôme highlighter in the shade "Radiant Rose Gold". This highlighter is GORGEOUS and sooooo freaking buttery. I've been reaching for this one a lot lately.
Tarte Shape Tape because DUH. This concealer is my ride or die and I will never not mention it. If you haven't tried it then you need to ASAP.
The Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder has been a favorite of mine for the last month or so because it's super light and fine milled. It's perfect for baking and doesn't set into your creases.
Wander Beauty Lipstick in the shade "Barely There". I received a sample of this (I don't remember where from) and I've been wearing it a lot! It's a super moisturizing lipstick and the shade is like a perfect mix of berry and nude.
Kate Somerville "EradiKATE" line. This stuff has helped my skin tremendously. The active ingredient in this line is Sulfur. So It doesn't contain any Salcylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide which are some of the most common ingredients found in over the counter acne treatments. I've never experienced any improvement when using products with those ingredients so I try to steer clear of any treatments containing them. The biggest change I've noticed while using this line would be that my breakouts would dry out and clear up a lot quicker than normal. That is a HUGE plus for me. I used the cleanser and spot treatment from this line.
Food Network 10 pc Nonstick Ceramic Cookware set. I got this set for Christmas and I am loving it! It's really pretty and super practical. The pots and pans also fit super nicely within each other which makes it super easy to store them.
Ninja Coffee Bar. Okay, so I know this one is a little pricey but this coffee maker has been a GAME CHANGER. It brews really quickly and seriously makes the smoothest cup of coffee I've had in a long time. If you can splurge, do it on this. You won't regret it.
So that's all I have for my december favorites! Let me know if you try any of them and whether they worked out for you or not! Also leave a comment and tell me something you have been obsessed with over the last month!
