Hi, beauties! Welcome back! I'm soooo excited to share all the ins and outs of our fall family photo session we did a few weeks back. I received our gallery a few days ago and I am IN LOVE! We have worked with this photographer for a little over two years, so she is super familiar and in tune with the best ways to capture these special moments between our little family!
I'll be sharing all of our outfit details and what makeup products I used to complete the entire look! XOXO
Now for the good stuff- MAKEUP! I really wanted to do a warm toned, sunset eye for this look considering it was an evening fall session. Since I was going for warm neutrals with our outfits, I felt this look would work perfectly! I'm going to list below each product I used for what...
Primer (applied onto bare skin AFTER moisturizing): I used the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores
Foundation: I used Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage in the shade Fairly Light Neutral mixed with a little bit of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in shade number 4 (I like to mix foundations with different finishes and coverages. You totally don't have to do this, it's just what works best for my skin!). All of this was applied with a Morphe M439, and then tapped out and blended into the skin with a Beauty Blender.
Concealer: I used Tarte Shape Tape in the shade "fair neutral" to conceal and brighten under the eyes, bridge of the nose, and on my chin and middle of my forehead. I blended everything out with a Beauty Blender.
I set everything with the Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder.
Cheeks: I contoured my cheeks, forehead, and nose with Benefit Hoola Bronzer (my ride or die!). In my opinion, this bronzer is the perfect cool-toned bronzer. It's not orange, it's perfectly matte, and goes on smoothly with out being patchy or muddy unless you just go overboard. A good drugstore dupe for this one is Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer if you're looking to save few bucks! For blush, I kept it light and used just a small little sweep from the Tarte Limited Edition Blush Palette in the shade "fortunate". For highlight I used Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in the shade "Champagne Pop", and Kylie Cosmetics Ultra Glow in the shade "Fiji" Which is out of stock right now, sorry guys :(.
Brows: I filled in the sparse areas and created my desired brow shape using the ABH Brow Wiz in "Medium Brown", and then gave them definition with ABH DipBrow Pomade in the shade "Medium Brown" using the Brush #14.
Eyes: I mainly used Shades from the Morphe 3502 Palette and the Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Palette.
I primed my eyes with my Tarte Shape Tape concealer (mentioned above), then went in with the shade "Silk Creme" from the JH palette, applying it with a Morphe M518 in and a little above my crease as a transition shade. Then to deepen my crease shade a little bit, I applied the shade "Pukey" with a Morphe M573.
I used that same M573 brush to apply the shade "Terra Cotta" from the 3502 Palette on the outer corner and halfway in the crease and blended that in really well, then used a Morphe M524 to apply "Roxanne" from the JH Palette on top of the previous color, and then blending it out just a little bit more back with the M573 on the outer corner to deepen the shade.
To complete the look, I took a clean fluffy blending brush (you can use whatever you have) to blend the entire look out and get rid of any harsh lines, and then I applied the shade "Enlight" from the JH Palette in the inner corner and brow bone. For the lower lash line I went back in with the shade "Roxanne" mixed with a tiny bit of the shade "Mocha" from the JH Palette using a Morphe E18.
Lashes: I applied strip lashes from the House Of Lashes X Sephora Holiday Gem Set in the style "Natalia" with DUO Strip Lash Adhesive in clear.
Setting Spray: I set my entire face with Morphe Continuous Setting Mist and fanned my face to quickly dry it and keep everything in place!
Lips: I wanted to keep my lips really natural and simple since I did such a bold eye look, so I decided to just use a pretty neutral gloss. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb worked perfectly for this! This lip product is completely universal and just enhances your natural lip color. It's seriously a must have!
